- JMM develops new training modules and resources. Working for ATSSA, under the FHWA Work Zone safety Grant, JMM developed two important works zone safety resources. The first one is a training module and field guide to improve the safety of highway workers. These resources will cover areas that are not addressed by national standards and guidelines, such as repair of stationary crash cushions and installation/removal of raised pavement markers (RPMs). The second resource is a one-day training course on the application of accessibility guidelines in highway work zones. The course, entitled Designing Temporary Traffic Control Zones for Pedestrian Accessibility, was completed in the Fall of 2015.
