JMM presents Vulnerable Road User (VRU) seminar in Sao Paulo, Brazil.Working for Avery Dennison Brazil, JMM presented this 3-day seminar, aimed at local and state governments wishing to reduce VRU crashes. The seminar discussed how to integrate VRUs into the safety design process, diagnosis of their crashes and evaluation of potential countermeasures. The seminar was specific to the VRU crashes that are common in Brazil and will included field visits where participants applied the concepts learned through hand-on exercises. A presentation on work zone safety followed. The seminar was presented November 6-8 at the Vinhedo Plaza Hotel, in Vinhedo and at World Center in Sao Caetano do Sul, Sao Paulo.
